Chief Minister Adityanath Condemns Samajwadi Party for Alleged Lawlessness and Anti-Progress Stance
In a rally held in Moradabad today, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP), accusing it of hindering progress and fostering lawlessness during its governance. In his address, Adityanath argued that SP had shown resistance to initiatives that benefit society and accused the party of prioritizing self-interest over the welfare of the state.
“SP Opposes Progress,” Says Adityanath
Adityanath asserted, “The Samajwadi Party has an issue with any positive work that benefits society.” He alleged that SP’s influence created a “culture of criminality” in the state, with a reputation that made citizens view vehicles with SP flags as symbols of trouble.
Allegations of Threats to Women’s Safety
The Chief Minister further alleged that SP’s tenure had fostered an environment where women felt unsafe. He referenced an incident in Ayodhya where a young girl was allegedly assaulted by a Samajwadi Party member, emphasizing that such actions must be addressed firmly. “These actions have no place in society, and we need strict measures against them,” Adityanath stated.
Social Values and Accountability
During his speech, Adityanath also suggested that SP’s leadership exhibited behavior unsuitable for a “civilized society.” He alleged that SP members have historically disregarded social values, taking over land and exploiting farmers. The Chief Minister claimed that under the current BJP administration, 64,000 acres of land previously occupied by what he referred to as “SP goons” had been reclaimed.
Youth Empowerment and Economic Progress
Reflecting on UP’s transformation since the BJP took office in 2017, Adityanath noted the state’s improved reputation, with youth no longer facing what he called an “identity crisis.” He highlighted the BJP government’s focus on creating employment, distributing free rations, and extending Ayushman Bharat health coverage to over 10 crore residents in the state.
Equal Treatment of All Festivities
Emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to inclusivity, Adityanath stated, “If Holi and Diwali are celebrated with joy, Eid and Christmas will also be celebrated with equal enthusiasm.” He assured citizens that his administration aims for a harmonious Uttar Pradesh where all communities feel respected and valued.
The rally highlighted Adityanath’s vision for a united and prosperous Uttar Pradesh, while reinforcing the BJP’s commitment to development and law enforcement as key priorities for the state.
