The tragedy unfolded following an altercation allegedly triggered by a drunk passenger inside the bus, who seized control of the steering wheel, leading to the catastrophic collision.
The Kalachowki Police, overseeing the jurisdiction where the fateful accident transpired, released a statement shedding light on the unfortunate demise of one of the two women who bore the brunt of the incident and were rushed to KEM hospital. The poignant episode unfolded on a somber Sunday evening in Mumbai’s Lalbaugh neighborhood, sending shockwaves across the city.

The ill-fated bus en route to Rani Laxmibai Chowk from Bhatiya Baug turned into a scene of chaos as a passenger, under the influence of alcohol, engaged in a heated argument with the bus driver. Tragically, the bus careened into nine pedestrians and caused damage to three vehicles, including two motorcycles and a car, adding layers of chaos to an already harrowing situation.
